NC-AAUP
~the North Carolina state conference of the American Association of University
Professors~
Statewide Annual Meeting
Friday, Oct. 21, 2005
1:00-6:30 PM
Appalachian State University in Boone, NC
This year's meeting theme is The Academic
Bill of Rights. The Executive Committee of NC-AAUP has
assembled an excellent set of speakers who will spark informative, lively
discussions on one of the most significant threats to academic freedom today.
Please join us for this afternoon of stimulating events. By
afternoon's end, the NC-AAUP will hold its annual Business Meeting with
all the members of AAUP in the state of North Carolina who are present.
This is an excellent chance for AAUP members in our state to network
and participate in the work of the organization.
On this webpage you'll find the Meeting Agenda, registration info, hotel
reservation info, Boone area restaurant info (note: advanced reservations
suggested!), a map, and guide to parking at ASU. You can print out
the registration material on this website and mail it in to Jerry Pubantz,
or if you received a Newsletter from NC-AAUP this fall you have a paper
copy in the newsletter itself.
